I was born in Fort Myers, FL but Maiden is where I was raised and call home. I graduated from Liberty University with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations on Religion and Social Science. I met my wife, Ashley, while attending Liberty. Ashley was born and raised in Amherst, VA. God has blessed Ashley with a beautiful singing voice which she uses in our ministry together and for God’s glory. Ashley has a passion for missions, whether it is serving locally or going and serving in other countries. We have been married since 2007 and have three children. Our son, Greyson, is the oldest, their middle child and oldest daughter is Audrey Kate, and their youngest is Ellisyn. Ashley and I also have two more children who are in heaven, who we cannot wait to meet one day. I regularly say that my true resume is simply that God uses the foolish and the weak. The more I realize that God does not have to use me yet still chooses to, despite my flaws and shortcomings, the more I am in awe at His goodness, grace, and mercy and the more glory I want to give to Him. HI! My name is Brandy Nichols and I am a lifelong resident of Maiden. I graduated from Maiden High School in 1999 followed by UNC-Charlotte in 2003. It was during my time at UNCC the Lord called me into ministry which led me to seminary. I graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006 with a degree in education and counseling. I have been in ministry for a little over 13 years. I have 10-year-old twins, Lucy and Levi and an almost 7 year old, Oliver. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, for almost 12 years. He is my greatest helper in ministry. I am most passionate about Jesus, my family and coffee (in that order)!

My name is Yvonne Travis and I came on staff at LCBC as the Office Administrator in February 2020. I have been married to my best friend, William, for 32 years and I have lived in this area my whole life. We have three children – two of which are in heaven waiting on us. One is a child we never met and one is our son, Austin, that passed from cancer in 2016. Savannah is our youngest and she is an elementary school teacher. We also have a fur-baby that we all adore – a shih-tzu named Holly. We attend Home Church where our family serves weekly in various areas. In addition to working here at LCBC, I am the Preschool Director at Center View Preschool, where I have worked for 19 years. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with my family and friends. I love my job here at LCBC – I enjoy seeing everyone and using my gifts and talents in such a welcoming environment.
