We believe in one God existing in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Although each performs different functions they are equal in nature, attributes and perfection.  All are to be worshiped and praised.

 

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus was fully God and fully man.  His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; sinless life; substitutionary death on the cross and bodily resurrection from the grave.  He ascended to heaven to sit on the right hand of the Father and will one day return to earth.​​​​​​​

 

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at time of conversion therefore enabling, empowering, sanctifying, and conforming all believers in the likeness of Christ.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, verbally inspired Word of God.  It is His complete revelation for salvation of mankind and daily living for all who place faith in Christ.

 

Man

We believe man was created to have a relationship with God and to bring glory to Him.  Man however fell and disobeyed God. Therefore, sin entered the world causing spiritual death to all mankind, which is separation from God.  Physical death was also a result of that fall.  Because of the fall all people are sinners by nature and choice.

 

Salvation

We believe there is only one road to heaven, which is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  All who believe He died to pay the penalty for their sin are declared righteous before God and therefore have eternal life.

Resurrection

We believe in a future resurrection of all people, those who have placed faith in Christ and die physically will one day be resurrected into everlasting life and those who have rejected His forgiveness will be resurrected to everlasting punishment in a place called the lake of fire.

 

The Church

We believe the church comprises all who have placed faith in Christ.  After conversion, we are placed by the Holy Spirit into one spiritual body called the church where Christ is the head.  We are commanded to gather at a local assembly of the church for corporate worship with other believers.  The local assembly is given authority to administer order, discipline, and worship.

 

Ordinances

We believe the church observes two ordinances: Baptism and The Lord’s Supper. 

 

Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit after conversion.  It has been commanded by Christ for all believers, however, it does not bring about salvation.  

 

The Lord’s Supper is taken in commemoration of His atoning death, which is observed often until the return of Christ.
